Happy Pajama Day!

We started out the day with a "Pajama Style Show."  The children stood up and modeled their pajamas and slippers for everyone to see.

Choice Time:  The children were given the following 3 choices:  mini magna doodles, tumbling mat, fort and flashlights.

Circle Time:  The children danced to the song, "Jammy Time."  After dancing, they listened to the story, "The Napping House."  This story was a flannel board story.  It told of a house where everyone was sleeping:  Granny, a boy, a dog, a cat, and a mouse.  A flea came and bit the mouse who woke the cat, who woke the dog, who woke the boy, who woke the Granny.  At the end, no one was sleeping in the house.  After the story, the children danced and sang to the song, "Five Little Monkeys."

Snack Time:  The children peeled their own clementine for snack today.  Milk and water were served to them for  drink.  No birthdays to celebrate in either class for the month of January.

Center Time:  All of the centers were open and painting was available at the easel.
